You’ve seen your favorite episodes of The Office over and over again, and now it’s time to step into your favorite character’s shoes! In The Office: Downsizing Game from Spin Master, it’s up to you and 5-10 of your friends to save the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin from closing. The gang’s all here, from Michael to Dwight to Jim and Pam. Can you finally win the Dundie you’ve always dreamed of?
The Office: Downsizing Game is a deductive party game. Players begin by picking a character from The Office from the ID card deck, and then match the character attribute card for the Office worker they drew from the deck. These cards contain mini-goals for the player that match the character; for example, if you play as Andy, you have to refer to yourself as the Nard Dog at least once during the game.
Next, players choose envelopes that reveal which team they’re secretly assigned to, Team Michael or Team Promotion. Everyone’s goal? To get Michael to fire someone on the opposing team. Let Becca Scott show you how to set up the game and start playing in this episode of How to Play.
Players then decide who they think is on the “Promotion” team, and it’s finally up to Michael to pick who should be fired. Naturally, this is determined by a finger-gun standoff.
The fired player reveals their team. If it’s Team Promotion, then Team Michael wins; if they’re on Team Michael, then Team Promotion wins.
Catch The Office: The Downsizing Game in action when Becca invites her friends to Game the Game!
