Artist and confirmed Star Wars fan, Brian Kesinger, has an unparalleled style all his own. However, he’s also got a talent for flawlessly mimicking other artist styles; even that of Calvin & Hobbes creator, Bill Watterson. He’s been putting that ability to good use to create some of the most adorable Star Wars: The Force Awakens art you’re likely to ever see.
His pieces are a beautiful tribute to the source material as well as the new film characters. He even has a tribute to Calvin’s classic alter-ego, Spaceman Spiff.
Beyond these pieces, he’s shared fan art in his own classic style as well.
If this art seems a bit more familiar to you, it could be because he’s the artist behind the recently launched Groot comic series from Marvel.
He’s also well known for his original creations, Otto and Victoria; a duo that consists of a beautiful steampunk girl with green hair and her pet cephalopod, Otto. Both characters are featured in his books Walking Your Octopus, Traveling With Your Octopus, and Coloring With Your Octopus.
You can even find official apparel with his artwork via We Love Fine and, for the octopus lovers among you, a lovable Otto plush.
