Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-Up, where we highlight some of the articles and videos that have gone up over the past week that you might have missed!
The Best Dungeon Master (From Comics)
The Wednesday Club explored which comic book character would be the best DM for your roleplaying sessions this week with Patrick Rothfuss. If you’ve got 5 minutes, it’s a fantastic, geeky, headcanon-filled conversation.
3rd Party Gifts For Your GM
Rob Wieland compiled a list of fantastic supplements to gift to your Dungeon Master, though let’s be completely honest and admit that arming your DM with even more ways to kill your RPG party might not be the smartest thing to do.
Diving into Dungeon Mayhem
Rob Wieland also got his hands on a small box game set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons: Dungeon Mayhem. “Dungeon Mayhem is a quick playing game of card-based combat. Games rarely last longer than 15 minutes, which fits the chaotic Super Smash Brothersfeel of a game.” Read more about it here.
Video Games That Feel Like Tabletop RPGs
Writer Jessica Fisher took a look at some video games that capture the feel of tabletop RPGs, exploring how these games lean into what makes pen-and-paper RPGs so very fun.
