Party On with These Asmodee Party Games in Our SDCC Tabletop Lounge

In case you haven’t heard, we’re doing our annual activation again for San Diego Comic Con  – this time, we’ll be hanging out at the Marina Terrace of the Marriott Marquis & Marina. Our tabletop lounge will be stocked full of awesome games and we’ll even have some exciting demos of yet-to-be-released games for you to get your hands on.  And no, you don’t need a convention pass to get in on the fun!

Check out these fantastic games from Asmodee and Z-Man Games that will be available for you and your pals to play while hanging in our Tabletop Lounge.

Asmodee Library games

Spot It!

At its most basic, this family-friendly pattern recognition game plays quickly. Flip a card, take a good look at it, and then flip another. The first person around the table who identifies which symbol is common on both cards gets to keep the card. The person with the most cards when the 55 card deck is done is run through. There are a number of game variants, emphasizing observational speed, are also included, where your goal is to earn the most card or get rid of them. It’s perfect to fine-tune those observational skills for the convention, especially if you’re on the lookout for a disguised/costumed Adam Savage.

Braintopia

A newly-released game from Asmodee, you and up to five opponents will face down eight challenges, which reward both accuracy and speed. One correctly identified tactile card or a pair of other challenge cards is all you need to take the win in this game. While it sounds simple, it’ll be a workout for your mind.

Onirim

In this cooperative game, you are cast as a Dreamwalker in a mysterious labyrinth. Working together to gather 8 door cards which lead you to your escape from the labyrinth by either playing 3 cards of the same color or discarding a (powerful) key card. Beware, you’ve got to play around the Nightmare cards hidden in the deck trigger some painful dilemmas when drawn. A distinctive art style makes this game all the more immersive so take a break from the crowds and get gaming in dreamland.
