Papercraft Mouse Guard Heroes are the Perfect Ornaments this Holiday

Papercraft Mouse Guard Heroes are the Perfect Ornaments this Holiday

For years, Mouse Guard has had some of the cutest anthropomorphic animals medieval themed tabletop roleplaying games have to offer. With brilliantly detailed artwork drawn from the comics that inspired it, the title is an amazing, narrative-focused pen-and-paper RPG. Lately, the creators have been uploading the plans for printable papercraft heroes modeled after the game’s signature characters.

tumblr_ofk8gfznwy1t0tuxjo4_1280 All you need is a printer, some scissors, and a bit of glue and you can have a small army of daring mouse adventurers of your very own. Attach a few hooks and you’ve got yourself the most adventurous holiday ornaments you’ve ever seen. You could even loop them up on a string and hang them over your doorway. So many ways to decorate with hero mice.

These 3D heroes come with detailed instructions for assembly, and when fully formed, look ready to take on fearsome medieval threats. Look at Midnight with his fearsome black axe, or the more complex Piper, complete with a mace and a flower. You can find the whole crew here ready to scout out your home for threats. Hang them up on the tree and get ready to impress your gamer guests.

So check out the gallery of cute mouse heroes below and get to assembling your own. Be sure to let us know how your own paper projects go in the comments.
