Back in 2010, beloved DM and host of our show GM Tips Satine Phoenix founded Celebrity ChariD20 – an event that brings celebrities together to play a game we love, Dungeons & Dragons, for charity.

This year, we’re excited to partner with Maze Arcana and Dungeons & Dragons in support of Reach Out & Read – an organization that promotes children’s literacy and is a cause near and dear to Satine’s heart. As she put it, “In our 7th year of fundraising we hope to make a valuable impact on the lives of children across our nation, inspiring them to tell their own stories and learn the value and fun of books. RPGs and libraries were a big part of my childhood and I want to share that safe space with others.”

Last year, many Geek & Sundry personalities took part and this year is no different. Game the Game’s Becca Scott, Shield of Tomorrow’s Eric Campbell and Sam De Leve,  ForeverVerse’s Amy Vorpahl and Damion Poitier, Sagas of Sundry’s Darin De Paul and Xander Jeanneret, and Game Engine’s Trisha Hershberger and Erika Ishii will all be there supporting this worthy cause (and hopefully rolling a lot of natural 20s).

We’ll be hosting the stream on our own Twitch channel (Twitch.tv/GeekandSundry) on December 9th starting at 10 AM PT so you can tune in and donate to this worthwhile cause.

If you want to stay on top of the details, be sure to follow Geek & Sundry on Facebook and Twitter, follow the Celebrity ChariD20 Facebook page.
