GALLERY: Hero Forge Captures the Coterie of L.A. By Night

Twenty-seven years ago Vampire: The Masquerade was released in 1991, and it’s been through a few iterations thus far along its journey.  Our RPG show, Vampire: The Masquerade – L.A. By Night is diving into the Vampire: The Masquerade’s Fifth Edition and the World Of Darkness it resides in.

As the season two finale of L.A. By Night kicked off, the cast and audience alike were treated to a glimpse of incredibly detailed miniatures from Hero Forge. Hero Forge, which specializes in custom minis, unveiled a closer look at the tiny vampires on social media following the show.

“We treated Geek & Sundry’s L.A. By Night show to a special surprise for their season finale last Friday!” they wrote. “Here are Annabelle, Victor Temple, Jasper, Nelli G, and X, joined by storyteller Jason Carl!”

The minis were made by Hero Forge and painted by Den of Imagination, who also created the detailed diorama the cast is standing in. (The dance floor even lights up!) The miniatures were made with the help of Erika Ishii, who plays Annabelle on the show. She gave us a peek behind the scenes of how it all came together.

“I worked with my boyfriend Teagan Morrison (Hero Forge Creator) to make the coterie,” says Erika. “He had to model some custom pieces to make everyone look just right. And other than telling them there was a DJ booth, the club diorama was designed completely by Den of Imagination. The Club Maharajah sign was added last minute based on one of the ‘Ramona’s sketchbook’ paintings by Megan Jessup. I couldn’t believe how incredible it looked when it all came together!”

Take a look at the gallery below for close-ups of all the characters.
