Dice Tower Needs Your Help To Fund Its 13th Season

Dice Tower is so ubiquitous for tabletop gamers online that chances are, even if you’re casually searching for information about a game, you’ve stumbled upon their podcasts, blogs, or videos at some point. Whether the crew is reviewing games, counting down their favorites of a particular topic or segment, or previewing up and coming games, Tom Vasel and their crew have been busy creating useful content for gamers around the world. In order to keep doing so, they’re looking for tabletop gamers to help them by crowdfunding their 13th season.

The fact of the matter is that while the crew has other nominal sources of revenue (like advertising on their videos, which bring in fractions of a penny per view) they rely heavily on contributions of their audience to help keep them going. They keep a staff of 5 plus a number of additional contributors to create all the tabletop content they put out, which in 2015 was reviews of over a thousand games. But for the Dice Tower crew, it isn’t enough to just truck on. Their last funding campaign had the goal of improving the audio in their videos, which they accomplished. This year they have their sights higher: To continue to improve the production quality of videos and possibly even secure their own studio for filming.

Tabletop gamers can get a bevvy of rewards for supporting Dice Tower. Branded game components (like custom dice, playmats and of course, dice towers), unique personal experiences (like meals and games with the crew) and additional promo packs for a variety of games can be had by backers. You can check out the Indigogo funding campaign and see the rewards for yourself.
