Gotham City Is Yours for the Taking (or Saving!) in DC FUNKOVERSE

You are vengeance. You are the night. You… are the incredibly cute, mini Batman Funko Pop! who’s saving Gotham City in the DC Comics-themed FunkoverseTake control of some of your favorite Bat-characters, heroes and villains alike, in this competitive, family-friendly strategy game now available for pre-order from Funko.

dcfunkoverse-1

The DC Funkoverse game is available in two bundles: a four-pack base set with Batman, Batgirl, The Joker, and Harley Quinn, and a two-pack “expandalone” with Catwoman and Robin. Both sets include dazzling game components (Catwoman comes complete with her own whip!), colorful game boards, and scenarios for playing the game with two to four players ages ten and up. Let Becca Scott and How to Play give you the rundown on how you and your friends will be facing off in some of the most iconic locations in the DC universe.

The hardest part of the game might be deciding which member of the Bat-Family or which Bat-Villain you want to be. Each character comes with its own card with the Funko style character art you know and love, along with Bat-tastic abilities, a trait, and more info.

dcfunkoverse-2

As characters face off on their mission to complete the scenario objectives, they’ll challenge each other with a roll of the dice. Three successes, and the defender is knocked down. Swing Harley’s mallet, toss a Batarang, aim a flying kick, and so on to knock your opponents down and off the game board. Do you concentrate on challenging the other players, or focus on completing the scenario objectives? The choice is yours, but either way, you’ll need strategy and quick-thinking to save the mean streets of Gotham or claim them for your own.

Want to see how a game of DC Funkoverse plays out? Let Becca Scott, Amy Dallen, Trisha Hershberger, and Patrick Ehlers be the players Gotham deserves.

DC Funkoverse is ready to pre-order at Target, Walmart, and GameStop now.
