Critical Role is Geek & Sundry’s live Dungeons & Dragons show featuring Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer and his troupe of fellow voice actors. Catch them every Thursday night at 7:00 PM PT on the Geek & Sundry Twitch channel and on Alpha.
Major spoilers for Critical Role follow.
After 115 episodes and almost 500 hours on camera, Vox Machina’s adventures have come to a bittersweet end. The group has gone from rescuing a lone hero from the depths of a dark mine to saving the entire world from the very brink of destruction. Through it all, the group has laughed, cried, loved, and battled—together as a family.
There’s one other person who has been with Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer and Vox Machina from the beginning to end of their journey, and that’s official Critical Role artist Kit Buss.
From the group’s first portraits for their character sheets, to portraits of guests helping Vox Machina along the way, to key scenes in their history, Kit’s official art has captured it all. And now she’s finished the journey with them with incredibly detailed art of their final appearances, complete with the powerful Vestiges of Divergence and other key items found along the adventure.
Take a look at the gallery below to check out highlights from Vox Machina’s adventures, friends they’ve made along the way, and before and after looks of the characters as they started the journey and at the end of the adventure as imagined by the talented Kit Buss.
If you’re at London MCM this weekend, make sure you stop by Kit Buss’ booth to pick up a print of the new portraits!
