An Ode to Wars in the Stars

Every year, the most dedicated Christmas light fanatics take to ABC Network’s Great Christmas Light Fight to show off their insane light shows. In 2014, Tom BetGeorge took the title when he programmed over 100K lights to the most popular music scores from Star Wars. Complete with spotlights lining the top of his roof, this display can surely be seen in far, far away galaxies.

 

The Happiest Angry Birds

This ode to the Angry Birds theme song went viral after it was feature on Jimmy Kimmel Live! a couple of years ago. 25,000 white and blue lights flash give off a strobe light feel as they flicker to every single note of the upbeat tune. Surely their neighbors love every minute of this spectacle….

 

Every Thing Is Awesome With Waving Lights

There’s no surprise that someone took the inescapable “Everything Is Awesome” song from The LEGO Movie and coordinated it with tons of snowflakes and a random “singing” cactus. The blinding light show also features a row of decorative trees that light up individually and change color throughout the song. Everything is indeed awesome about this show.

 

The Wizards of Winter

This house is an oldie but goodie that started the trends. Choreographed with the popular system Light-O-Rama and set to “Wizards In Winter” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, this display slowly reveals more lights as the song progresses. And, what nerd doesn’t love this addictive song?

 

The Man of Steel’s Greatest Hits

This carefully constructed home display is every Superman fans dream. While this display seems to focus less on an exorbitant amount of lights and more on the spotlights and shadows to give off an epic feel to the various songs of the Man of Steel. The best part about this display is Superman theme – the front of the home is flooded in blue and red.
