Each year the Sheraton hotel in downtown Seattle, a familiar place for PAX attendees, hosts a gingerbread house extravaganza. Months of preparation and mounds of time (and candy) culminate in a spectacular gingerbread village display benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
This year, the Sheraton’s gingerbread village is even more special with six dazzling displays honoring the first six Star Wars films. From a gigantic gingerbread sandcrawler to an extraordinary re-creation of the Battle of Endor, the Star Wars themed gingerbread creations leave adults and children alike smiling in wonder.
If you’re in the Seattle area, the gingerbread creations will be on display until January 3, 2016. Admission is free, but donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) are welcomed.
