This Budget Civil War Trailer Might Be Too Well Done

You’ve probably seen Captain America: Civil War. Who are we kidding? You’ve probably seen it multiple times by now. With big effects and tons of action, Civil War certainly had the big budget we’ve come to expect from films requiring tons of action and effects. But over at Budget Films, they don’t have Marvel money. So, they made a sweded (low-budget) shot for shot version of the Captain America: Civil War trailer, proving that sometimes strong story is just as important as expensive action and effects sequences. Basically, you’ll probably still get emotional when Tony says “I was too,” even without an actual Iron Man suit. Check out the trailer:

Seriously good, right? Their Bucky is spot on. Especially the wig. And where can we get a cardboard Captain America shield? Asking for a friend. But just in case you’ve forgotten the original Civil War trailer, have no fear here’s a side-by-side comparison of the two trailers.

Maybe it’s too good. The ending fight between Iron Man, Cap, and Bucky looks pretty epic. I hope Marvel doesn’t decide to just forego their big-budget films and replace them with this unique style of low-budget creativity. But while it’s fun to see what these guys manage to do on a budget, it’s hard to deny the beauty of the original film.
