The Royal Star Wars Set Visit Was Adorable

The Royal Star Wars Set Visit Was Adorable

In case you haven’t been combing the internet for all Star Wars-related news on the daily, Episode 8 has been filming at Pinewood Studios near London. In fact, The Force Awakens and Rogue One filmed there as well. So it makes perfect sense that the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry dropped by to visit the set recently. We’re totally jealous because judging from photos, William and Harry basically lived out our Star Wars fantasy–meeting Mark Hamill, having a lightsaber battle, and even checking out the Star Wars costume department. Check out some photos below and feel your heart melt from adorableness.

Prince Harry got a hug from Chewbacca–which cures all ailments and solves all world problems.

Harry and William enjoyed a lightsaber battle. Who do you think won? My money is on Harry because he looks pretty into it.

That time Luke Skywalker taught you how to fly. I’m sure Prince Harry has a pretty cool life but this has to be one of the top ten moments, right?

Looks like the whole crew was there. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Director Rian Johnson were also there to give the royals a tour!

We didn’t get any new intel from the visit but it’s pretty cool to see our favorite Star Wars characters mingling with real-life royalty.

What would you want to do if you could visit the set of Star Wars? Let us know in the comments!
