The Many (Adorable) Adventures of Wookiee-the-Chew

Warning! Cuteness overload is headed your way. While we all enjoy the grown-up versions of the Star Wars characters we know and love, artist James Hance has imagined younger, more adorable versions. James is selling original sketches of young versions of the characters on his Etsy page. Using watercolor paper and Copic markers, James captures the innocence and heart of Chewbacca, Han, Leia, R2D2, and even a baby AT-AT in a way that’s reminiscent of E.H. Shepard’s Winnie-the-Pooh illustrations. Here are a just a few of the perfect pieces.

Check out tiny Chewbacca and R2D2 frolicking together. What do baby droids look like anyway?

This is totally how Leia would act as a child if she didn’t get her way. Her personality really comes through in this one!
