Are you ready for Saint Patrick’s Day? On March 17, the world turns green and hopes for a wee bit of Irish luck. We were lucky enough to catch the Irish bandits for a quick interview and learn about their plans for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. The Kilt Brahs have unique views on life and crime, so of course they also have strong opinions on the Irish holiday. Check out what they had to say in our special interview!
Geek & Sundry: Thank you for talking with us today. What does St. Patrick’s Day mean for you?
Kilt Brahs: Celebrating being IRISH. IRISH, understand?
G&S: What’s the best/worst part of this holiday for you?
KB: Well, it’s definitely our busiest day of the year. Everyone’s out at the parades and the pubs so that leaves us with a LOT of houses to rob. It’s a nightmare! I know how Santa Clause feels come Christmas Eve now. Which reminds me, I should get my letter to Santa in the mail and we should also take a look at doin’ his gaff while he’s at work.
G&S: Do you plan on wearing green or drinking beer?
KB: Do you think we’re Scottish too???
G&S: What’s the one thing you have to do on St. Patrick’s Day?
KB: Just one? That’s a tough one. Eh… Rob. Drink. Fight. Weep. That’s more than one, but oh well. This year I also have to pick up some dry-cleaning.
G&S: Do you have any special St. Patrick’s Day memories?
KB: We were doing a job in Boston. We hid our stash and went for scoops. A barman wouldn’t serve me. I roared “This pub is full of Brits” and the gaff just emptied. That’ll learn him. Happy days!
