In the Game of Star Wars, You Win or You Use the Force

Fantasy worlds with power-hungry politicians, heroes and villains who toe the lines of their respective alignments, and breathtaking, large-scale battles–Star Wars and Game of Thrones might have more in common than you might think.

Artist Andrew D. Tran recognized those similarities and was inspired to create a mash-up of the two worlds, giving us “Game of Star Wars.”

Tyrion Lannister looks right at home as a scoundrel, even with a DL-44 heavy blaster in his hand instead of a crossbow. Melisandre’s red-tinged Sith look is so perfect that I’m not sure she’s not actually a Sith in disguise who has made her way to Westeros.

Jaimie Lannister, Sithslayer, is perhaps the best suited for the Star Wars treatment, with a golden mechanical hand and a beard that rivals Obi-Wan Kenobi’s.

Jaime Lannister, Sith Slayer

Be sure to stop by Tran’s site to see the rest of the line, like Arya the Jedi Padawan and Daenerys, Mother of Rancors, and even more creative takes on your favorite games and shows, including Overwatch rockabilly fan art.
