Finding the perfect gift for the people you love can be tough. I love books, and I’ll be the first one to tell you that buying a gift for a book lover or writer in your life. Sure, getting your writer or bookworm friend another book is a bit of a no-brainer, but one look at your bookish buddy’s overflowing shelves will quickly show you the double edged sword that is
hoarding collecting books–storing the zillions of books.
So this Christmas, don’t get your reader friend another book and don’t get your writer friends another collection of writer prompts. No, this holiday season, think a bit outside the book. Get them something that shows them you know them, their love of words, and have found a gift that can bring their literary loves into their everyday lives. These are the gifts that will tell your reader and writer friends, “I know you have a slightly unhealthy obsession with books and words, but you also have finite shelving space.”
In the gallery below, I’ve got just those types of gifts, from the crazy expensive (but flippin’ amazing) to the affordable yet amazing. So go forth, friends of book lovers: buy your friends stuff for their house, their body, and of course something to organize the copious amounts of books they own. Your wordy friends and family will love you if you give them any of these amazing gifts this holiday season.
