“Whatever you do, remember that. You’re going to make a difference. A lot of times it won’t be huge, it won’t be visible even. But it will matter just the same. Don’t do it for praise or money, that’s what I want to tell you. Do it because it needs to be done. Do it to make your world better.” ― Ed Brubaker, Gotham Central, Book One: In the Line of Duty
Every day, you are given the opportunity to be amazing, to improve someone else’s life, and in other words, to be super. There are no capes needed here. No powers from far flung galaxies, irradiated DNA, or mysterious items designed by technology or Gods. You have all the power you will ever need to be super.
And it starts today.
Find a way to help someone else in need. Donate your time to a charity, help in an afterschool program, or simply listen to a friend in need. Sometimes the hardest part of helping others is trying to figure out what to do. We will share your stories, and through your actions, we can help other be super as well. Little actions can mean a lot to those in need. And with your help, we can help others #BeSuper.
What did you do today to help someone in need? What can others do to help out? Use the hashtag #BeSuper to let us and others know what they can be doing to earn their capes this holiday season.
