Game of Thrones Cosplayers Play Game of Thrones Clue

There are several classic board games that have been rebooted to align with a TV show or a movie. Some games are a bit more of a stretch than others with things like Supernatural Monopoly or SpongeBob Life, but if there was ever the perfect classic board game to get a Game of Thrones edition, that game would most certainly have to be Clue. The game itself is one of intrigue, deception, and tricking the other players so you can come out on top. That’s the perfect game to get a Westerosi makeover.

One of the fun parts about playing Clue is that you not only have to discover who committed a murder, where they did it, and what they used to commit the crime, but you also play as one of the accused characters. It seems like a no-brainer to host a Game of Thrones Clue night in Game of Thrones cosplay, right?

The team over at the YouTube channel Practical Folks not only did just that, but they also recorded the entire game session. The results are nothing short of fantastic. The cosplayers go through the entire game in character, and manage to take a fairly straightforward board game that we’ve all played for years and give it a bit of an RPG flair. They also manage to capture the tension between Cersei, Sansa, and Margaery and the super creepy relationship between Littlefinger and Sansa pretty perfectly.

I won’t tell you who the murderer is or who the game’s winner is, but just like when you’re reading or watching Game of Thrones, you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time. And just like the source material, don’t get too attached to anyone, because winter is coming, and that means your faves are gonna die.

Have you gotten to play Game of Thrones Clue? If you could play as any of the characters, who would you pick? Tell us in the comments!
