Finally You Can See What Thor Was Up To During Captain America: Civil War

Thor: Ragnarok is already looking like the best Thor movie yet. Not only is Mark Ruffalo co-starring in it for some Hulk action, but Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum are joining the cast as well. Plus you have the return of Tumblr’s “fav is problematic” villain Loki, a sweet new vintage arcade-style logo, and the film will be scored by none other than Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh. Oh and did I mention that it’s directed by Taika Watiti, the Kiwi filmmaker behind the hilarious vampire mockumentary What We Do In The Shadows?

At Comic-Con this year, fans got an early look of Waititi’s hand in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a glimpse at what Thor was up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Apparently, it involved getting some ‘me time,’ and a move to Australia and getting an ‘average every day’ roommate named Darryl. Marvel rightly is making time to squeeze it onto the digital (September 2nd) and the blu-ray (September 13th) releases of Captain America: Civil War, but you can take a look at it right now and appreciate what Thor’s Hammer (Mjølnir) would look like wearing a pair of cool shades.
