Space. The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise…and Enterprise-D, and Enterprise-NX1, and Voyager, and Deep Space 9. Everyone’s favorite mischief maker Q is bringing together Captains Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, and Archer in USAopoly’s Risk: Star Trek.
Yup, it’s re-skinned Risk, but it’s Star Trek reskinned Risk so that’s a plus. You pick a captain, then gradually take over territory throughout the universe. You know, that doesn’t seem very by-the-prime-directive to me. What is Q up to? I mean, he’d have to tear through the timeline and reality, which he can certainly do. Okay, maybe I’m over thinking it. He’s Q. He can do whatever he wants. And if he wants five captains from five different eras fighting for territory, then so be it.
The Game Includes:
- Custom Game Board features Alpha and Beta Quadrants
- 225 custom starships and shuttlecrafts
- 5 Captain’s Logs
- 44 Location Cards
- 30 Crew Cards
- 50 Q-Vent Cards

- 72 Alien Lifeform Tokens
- 5 Manhunt Markers
- 2 Wormholes

You guys. You guys. Tribbles.
The game is said to be available through local game stores, but if you can’t find it at a place near you, you can order it from shop.StarTrek.com, Midtown Comics, Hastings, and Barnes & Noble. If you’re a Trekkie, but Risk isn’t really your thing, don’t worry. 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the original Star Trek, so there are plenty of other games out there to help you celebrate. USAopoly also offers Star Trek Panic and Trivial Pursuit: Star Trek 50th Anniversary Edition.
