It’s the chocolate delight you never knew you needed! Or wanted. But now you do. You’re welcome, Internet.
Last year, UK-based pastry chef and chocolate artist Jen Lindsey-Clark created a treat that any woman, or Sherlock fan, can appreciate: A life-sized chocolate replica of actor Benedict Cumberbatch made of 500 chocolate bars.
The piece garnered international recognition for Lindsey-Clark and her company Chocolatian. And now, she’s upping her game with the creation of the Cumberbunny, a 400g Belgian chocolate Easter bunny with Cumberbatch’s face. The tasty treats are available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate with an edible 22 carat gold bow tie.
Glory unto Cumberbunny!
Each Cumberbunny costs £50 and takes 7-14 days before dispatching. Currently, Chocolatician does not ship to the U.S., but they are hoping to change that in the very near future. The bunny won’t make it across the pond before Easter, but hopefully will be making it over soon. Lindsey-Clark stated that she doesn’t plan to send one directly to Cumberbatch because “He might think it’s weird eating his own face.”
Um, can I have his then? Please send it to Geek & Sundry c/o Courtney Kraft. I might even share it.
(I won’t share it.)
Would you invest money to have your own chocolate Cumberbunny? Would you even eat it or just bask in its glory as it sits upon your shelf forever? Let us know what you would do in the comments!
