Day[9] Teams Up with Ryon Day to Battle Felicia Day and Alan Tudyk in Magic: the Gathering: Spellslingers

Felicia Day, Ryon Day, and Alan Tudyk join Sean “Day[9]” Plott for an extra special version of Magic: the Gathering. Today on Spellslingers, Sean and Ryon team up against Alan and Felicia for a game of Two-Headed Giant, a four player variant which pits the pairs in mortal combat. Just kidding, we mean Magic: the Gathering.

Team “Day” has Sean playing with a straight-up air swol Blue-White Flyer deck and Ryon with a Red-Black-White Warrior deck, best suited for ground superiority. Team Conjoined Twins features Alan with a Red Goblin deck–a great deck for starting players which allows fast play and direct damage–and Felicia with a beautiful and long living Green-Black Elven deck.

How will the teams fair when sharing life points? Will Ryon and Sean ever be able to get their armies out of the gym and on to the field of play? Will Sean be able to effectively utilize the power of Blue? What does an elk actually sound like? The only way to find out is to watch. Except for that elk part, you can probably find that somewhere else on the internet.

In this game, Sean, Alan, and Felicia each draw a pre-pubescent Planeswalker. Have you picked up the Magic Origins set and gotten to play with pre-Planeswalker Nissa, Jace, or Chandra yet? Let us know how you like them in the comments below and be sure to tell us your favorite part of this episode!
