An Act of #HOOMANISM: Critical Role Gives Back to 826LA

It’s Hooman Appreciation Week, and what’s a better way to celebrate than with an act of #Hoomanism? Whether it’s volunteering at a local organization, making a donation to a deserving cause, helping out a friend, or just being a good person, it’s never a bad time time to be a hooman.

In the spirit of #Hoomanism and with the help of Critters and Hoomans alike, the cast of Critical Role recently visited 826LA to give back to the community in a big way. 826LA is a writing and tutoring organization which provides children ages 6 to 18 with free programs that promote and teach writing skills in their centers and throughout schools in Los Angeles to show kids that writing doesn’t have to be a scary process. We heartily agree (and say the same thing about playing Dungeons & Dragons)!

Want to spread the #Hooman goodness? Looking to be involved in the community? Take a look at some of our favorite charities and nerdy volunteer organizations. You don’t necessarily need to have any special skills or know-how to be a good volunteer, just heart, which can be said about being a hooman as well.

Thanks, Hoomans, for all of your support! Want to get involved with the Hooman Community? Head over to Geek & Sundry’s, Felicia’s, or Ryon’s Twitch channels and be a good person. No other membership is required!
