Amy Dallen Talks Comics with Kelly Sue DeConnick at SDCC 2015

Didn’t get a chance to make it down to San Diego Comic-Con this year and missed talking to your favorite comic book creators? Worry not! Amy Dallen of The Pull got a chance to sit down with Kelly Sue DeConnick (Captain MarvelAvengers AssembleBitch PlanetPretty Deadly) to talk about writing for comic books, silly shenanigans in the letter columns, and her run on Captain Marvel.

During her stop by the Conival, Amy and Kelly Sue had a fairly intimate chat about her experiences as a writer on two big name titles, Bitch Planet and Captain Marvel, and her decision to move solely into the indie comics space once her run with Marvel has come to a close. To continue the discussion on Captain Marvel, Kelly Sue and Amy shared their Carol Corps, their love of Helen Cobb and the Banshee Squadron, and the heartbreaking Captain Marvel #15.

Want to get a chance to see more interviews like this one? Check out The Pull on Tuesdays from 7pm to 10pm PST!
