A Star Wars Fan Film With *Real* Speeder Bikes? Yes, Please.

Devin Graham, AKA devinsupertramp, is a cinematographer, filmmaker, and doer-of-good. His projects might not have huge budgets, but you can tell he’s a fan and he loves to give back to his fan community. When Graham approached the good folks at Jetovator about his new project, well… it was a match made in nerd heaven.

The standard Jetovator looks like a super stripped down jet ski combined with a piece of exercise equipment that, when attached to another watercraft via a tube, allows the user to fly across the surface of the water. Not for the faint of heart, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.

Devin and the Jetovator team collaborated on kitting out three of the company’s vehicles in to Star Wars style speeder bikes. Together they created an amazingly faithful remake of the iconic chase through the forests of Endor in Return of The Jedi. Check out the behind the scenes below.

70+ rolls of Gorilla tape, two “Jedivators,” a bunch of friends, and the most adorable Ewoks you’re ever going to see equals a Star Wars fan film for the ages.
