5 Reasons You Should Pumped about The Venture Bros.

The long awaited (almost THREE YEARS, not including the specials) return of The Venture Bros. has us dancing like:

Adult Swim kicked off Season 6 of the series last Sunday with a midnight premiere of the first non-special episode, “Hostile Makeover.”

Here are our top 5 reasons that fans new and old alike will want to jump aboard the Venture train now that the new story is afoot. Warning: spoilers below!

towerDoc Venture becomes a Tony Stark-esque success
Through no effort of his own, ‘ol Rusty has become the owner of his recently deceased brother’s super successful empire, and he and the boys move into their very own “Stark” tower in the Big Apple.

Oh my god, that opening montage, though.

A hip hop 80’s montage to the classic song “I’ve Got the Power” by SNAP!, The Venture Bros theme song is replaced by this sick new tune (yet untitled) that drops some synthesized beats about the Venture family. Where can we download this?? TAKE MY MONEY!

Pop culture parodies galore
Hank calls out to Rusty, “Hey, Pop? Pretty much the Avengers are on our porch,” and indeed a bastardized version of one of Marvels main teams has popped up hawking their “protection” services. Keep your eyes peeled and find parodies of all your favorite comic characters, like Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, the Kingpin, Captain America, Hawkeye, Two-Face and more!

BROCK SAMSON IS BACK!
Thank the little baby Jesus. Brock, voiced by the sultry, dulcet tones of Patrick Warburton, has returned as the official Venture bodyguard, and Sergeant Hatred has been booted by the OSI, though we know that’s definitely not the last we’ll see of him.

Hank Venture, Beiber extraordinaire
Hank is such a fan favorite, because no matter what guise he is in, he is always… Hank (or occasionally The Bat). Focused on getting girls to notice him, Hank dons a carousel of Justin Bieber-esque outfits that are hilariously accurate.

If you caught the epilogue of this episode on the Adult Swim Facebook page, you’ll see that Hank eventually takes Brock’s advice and Googles “Steve McQueen,” which ends up in him donning his iconic jacket that he’ll probably stick with for the rest of the season.

We’re super stoked for the return of the Venture Bros! We’re on episode in and already true believers that the series is going to be a knock out!
